Description I was supposed to work on something else today. I was really excited about it too. But for some reason, I thought I'd work on this a little bit first. That "little bit" turned into hours, and now I have this.

What IS this again? It's just an interactive animation of one of my OC Robot Masters, Cinder . This was inspired by the very awesome Ragnarok Battle Offline : [link]  [link]  [link]  I liked it's visual style of using chibi characters and modular 2D animations (which is good for me because I suck at frame by frame XP).

What's new? Nothing much. Added a running animation. And a pretty awesomely designed button to call it. And wow, this file got big pretty quickly. Good thing I added a new SUPER AWESOME PRELOADER! *wink* *wink*

So what can I say about this? Hmm... transition animations could use some more work. They look really rushed and aren't really as smooth as I hoped they would be. But for now, I guess this will do. Also... the effects! OMG those effects! I was supposed to update the fire on her head because it was very hastily done. But the simple effects kinda grew on me, so I left it as is. They need more work of course. But I think the visual style's pretty nice. Also I think it would be in my best interest to keep the effects simple. Hmm... what else? Oh, her height! I don't know why, but she's almost the same height as when she's standing still and when she's down running. it must be the SD style, but it bugs me really much! DX



Anyway, hope you guys like it.

Hehe, she's still as cute as ever! I really like how she starts running faster when you let her run for some time. And that stop effect...so cute! !

Oh, and I really love how her fiery hair bun burns and then flares up! Very cute work~

Thanks man! I wanted to go for a "cooler" stopping animation. But I thought this deserved some cuter elements. That and because it's easier to animate, and I only needed the available graphics I had. LOL

And I-m glad you decided to not change the simple animation of the fire, its very fitting for the style xD or maybe its just my favoritizing on simpler styles -w-
Also loved the little effects when she runs and stops xD gotta love the details

btw on my comp it runs kinda slow, I really hope its only me, because that makes her look heavy

That too. I mainly meant that it's starting to show some slowdowns. I hate drawing in Flash, so I draw in Photoshop instead. then import them to flash. Thing is... raster images produce quite a bit of artifacts. So a flat three color piece actually contains a whole bunch more colors. It's a long story, but I think that's what causes the slowdowns and the large file size. Looks like I need to change that for the next characters. XD

I wanted to put more surprises for those who watch the animations long enough. Maybe next time. And yeah, the simple effects really work in my favor. I don't have to make super complicated effects in the future haha. XD

Whoaa!!!    this version is AWESOME!! I liked at the moment where it stops! XD
this seems like a new video game of Megaman, It reminds me of the game of megaman powered Up or something like that.  

you are very good at making animations also, I think that in the future could do more really cool animations!
if you keep practicing the latest updates of what already seems!

Yeah! I liked Powered Up. I think it's the perfect style for a Megaman game. Just thought I would have a hard time with that level of SDing, so I upped it a little.

It is! I put it at a around the middle ground speed between her two speeds. I was supposed to put two stopping animations. But I got tired and left it like this for now. XD

Thanks man! The dust effect was supposed to be more... voluminous and exaggerated. But this will do. I kinda like the effect it gives when I put a couple on top of each other haha.

Doesn't look too bad for something you don't normally do. The animation looks pretty smooth, although I feel that she returns to her idle position a bit too fast when she stops running, but hey, what do I know about animation XP.

Nah, you're right. Like I said in the description... the transition animations could use more work. I've already lain the groundwork at least. Just a matter of adjusting now.

What line? The ones on the ground? Nah, it's some sort of optical illusion. Like how chopper blades seem to rotate backwards after gaining some speed. I'm not really sure how to fix that. XD

Duely noted. She'll probably do some martial artsy stuff. She's no ninja though. I just think it's a good position for when she has her claws out. I wouldn't carelessly flail my arms about if they have attached blades on them if I was her.

It shouldn't take much effort. But the way I do it... it takes too much work. Just my inexperience I guess. But this is some good practice. So maybe I'll be more efficient in the future.
