And you wanted to bring up boarder control? You don't want to know how many American and coalition service members I've seen maim and killed by weapons and explosives carried over the boarder from Pakistan. We know all too well what side you support. Just because the news tells stories of pending war with North Korea or Iran, don't think we forgotten.

Mulan is the one I'm most hopeful about, since it's not just a remake - it's actually going to be more based on the original legend, so at least it's providing a new experience

Don't look at them. I don't think anyone is dragging you to the cinema. But there are also many people who like them and have the right to see them. The world is not made to measure for anyone, an attitude of "I hate it, they shouldn't do it because I don't like it" is just toxic and useless.

Wish Disney would cool it already with all the live-action remakes. Whatever happened to "if it ain't broke, don't fix"? And let's not forget Walt Disney himself often said, after a string of failed follow-ups to his Academy Award winning "Three Little Pigs", "You can't top pigs with pigs."

I at once agree and disagree. Which is to say I want to see no more of the straight animation-to-live-action remakes like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin (and let's not even talk about The Lion King, live action my foot). But it looks like they're taking a very different route with Mulan, like they did with Cinderella; I'm more okay with that.
