I
the story of Avalon so much that I have decided to put together a series of manips, inspired by the book and movie titled, "The Mists of Avalon", by Marion Zimmer.The series will gradually emerge from the mists of my thoughts and imaginations over a period of time, and in no particular order...as you can see, I have started with the end!!
(there is a LOT of symbolism within this story of Avalon and King Arthur, and its spiritual concept is obviously of the Old Ways...powerful! Read the book by Marion Zimmer, and/or watch the movie based on the book, "Mists of Avalon".)

This is a beautiful piece, you really managed to freeze emotion into the picture. I love the Avalon series as well, especially how the whole series is really centered around two lovers and how they find each other from one life to the next.

Ya i've run into that problem alot trying to find appropriate stock and such. Got several unfinished projects laying around cause of that.

I so love the Marion Zimmer "Avalon/King Arthur" story...told from a womans perspective (Morgan Le Feys). Absolutely gorgeous! Powerful, inspiring..yet sad.

I think the grass in foreground is too bright.

thankyou sweety, yeah, me too!! I want to work with it (this type of pik with the Avalon series) a lot more...im having probs DL brushes etc at present so I can only do the best I can do with PI itself. I cant seem to find how to fix the foreground within my photodoc, so ive just adjusted the contrast, hue etc and this has darkened it a little more...you may want to 're-favour' the updated pik...back and foreground lighting is something that i will keep in mind for future projects!!
