i have this question that's been bothering me for like... ever, so i'm going to take advantage of this painting and your skill as an artist to ask you something: how do you digital artists manage to make your digital works look like they were made with traditional media? for example, this piece looks as if it were done with watercolors, but i've seen others that looked like they were done with pencils, so on and so forth. is it some sort of photoshop filter that you apply afterwards or is it the textures used?
please enlighten me

i don`t really use filters...I think it`s about the right textures and blending options. For example take a look at the textures I used: [link] I overlapped two of them on difrent blending modes (i think one was Darken and the other PinLight or smth like that) and added a layer with the color that had a blending mode as well..and voila.. ofc the sketch was made traditional with ballpoint pen
