I even thought it was perhaps the tail of a mount b/c in the smaller view I had to scroll down to see the mount, and couldn't see the mounts head and thought it was the skeletal grif. But I was wrong. Though..kind of right.
I like the saber's texture, it looks like the beast from Sholzar Basin...with the name I can never remember

I just used a plain brush to put down white spots in the image, then I used the smug brush like crazy until I got the effect I liked.

Very interesting design now that I see it colored. It'd be nice of Blizzard to maybe allow deathknights to retain the mount of their life version's original race.
