I don't care what anyone else says- These things are adorable.I thought they looked just like hermit crabs when I saw them first.
After accidentally dropping a kajilion of them down endless pits i started to really feel sorry for them.
I have a tendency to talk to things (like inanimate objects or video games) when they need reassuring and I often say "Sssshhh Sssshhh the test will be over soon. Hang in there" and anyone else who's around gives me a weird look or tells me to shut up. (namely my sister ahha)
Anyhoo, here are the... franken... turret cube thingies but anthropomorphic. Two turrets have been stuffed into a little cubby in the cube and welded in. They have no legs and half of their faces are gone (one of the firing barrels). They each use one arm to drag themselves about while the other is welded around their partner. (the other firing barrel)
I feel so darn sorry for these guys...
(Frankenturrets belong to valve and the anthropomorphism is mine)

When you find them in the first room, where GLaDOS says the paradox to Wheatley, I always (out of mercy) relieve the poor things from their pain by throwing them into the Emancipation grid...

I have felt EXTREMELY awkward. Especially when you watch his face. i find it disturbing that he can now move every panel of his outer casing. Did you notice that his iris is cracked?

Chell moves into the Apeture Apartment Complex. Everything seems fine and dandy, except for the little fact of the sadistic landlord, an AI named GLaDOS, love of turning the building into "test chambers", rooms with challenges for Chell to complete which count as her "rent". If she does not complete the required amount for the month she will be...missed. While Chell adventures though the building, she is occasionally helped out by her neighbor, Wheatley, a little British robot in the apartment across from her.

Whoa, kat I have this weeeird story to tell u.
I was walking back home and this lady gave me three bucks and she was like "Can you buy me some salt from the store up there?" and I was like "... Um... Okay." so I went to the store and spent like 5 minutes looking for the salt, I finally found it, bought it and took it back to her. She forced me to keep the change.
