Yeeahhh...this is super raw and super not polished. I got my Flash program on my laptop again and dipped around in it. This is about 77 frames and it's fast and choppy but at least it's practice. I'm going to try and figure out how to shove more frames between shots to get it to run smoother. I tried adding and moving frames but I kept re-writing/saving over the previous frame.Edit//Figured out how to add frames. Now I'm trying to figure out where to add them. I won't be tweaking this deviantation, if I make any changes, it will be a new submission.
Edit 7/27/14: I know how to fix this now..lol beyond just shoving more frames in there willy nilly. I no longer have Flash on my computer so I may use the school's computers when I have access to those labs later.

Ugh, I think Toonboom's Animate is easier to use than Adobe's Flash. ; w;b
So far, I've only used Photoshop, Β Illustrator, Flash, After Effect, and Premier.
Illustrator, I never used the program correctly -- freakin' pen tool, and After Effect
and Premier were only used for little things. ; w;

It's industry standard or something, I learned it last semester. They have a storyboard program too.

Lol! No Toonboom does. They have Animate and Storyboard -- the storyboard program is
very good by the way. + w+b
I've been takin' my classes randomly.; So many GE's I haven't taken-- all of them,
I haven't taken a single one.Β
The pen tool is for all dem smooth lines and whatnot, but if you're going for
animator, I wouldn't say it's the most important thing you need;; However, if you want
to be a graphic designer you'll need to get good at it since.. illustrator will be your best friend.
I've been practicing.. but I don't think I can create something from scratch with the pen tool only.;;

I googled it, since... animation majors also have a choice of just being certified I wanted to see the point
of getting the degree over the certificate. Only difference with the AS is that you have a college education. :/

Aah I know the feeling. My school's in the middle of Atlanta so really different down here compared to the Ohio suburb I used to live in. Kinda like it better though - more interesting in the city.

Yeerp although - to be fair - my parents did buy a house in the suburbs so technically whenever I'm not on campus, I'm no longer in the city lawlz but since I don't go home often we'll just say I live in downtown - v - mhm I could do without all the stories about people getting mugged and raped etc. on the edge of campus though; trade-off for living here I guess.
