I love the colours!
And I have a little embarrassing question...
How do you cross process? You just ask your lab to do it? And how do they do it?

thank you !
not an embarrassing question at all, I don't know very much about it myself
I gave in my film to my lab and asked them to cross process it, simple as that try it !

Oh, it looks so simple! I'll try it, but I'm not sure of the results... Because they don't develop direclty at my lab (they don't even have a darkroom anymore ) and they send away film to get it developed... They don't really know anything about film, last time I asked if they had any 120mm film, and the guy didn't even know what it was
So I'm not sure they know how to cross-process!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they use C-41 chemistry, so if I find a film that doesn't develop in that product, then I'll have cross-process? I'm still not sure if that's what cross-processing means, or how to find that kind of film!

Anyway, sorry for my confusing message, I think my brain just died. And my poor english doesn't help

Actually my photo lab sends my film off to another company also
Don't worry it is difficult to get 120 film these days it is quite rare.
I have to buy it from eBay now haha
don't worry about your photo lab not understanding the cross-process.
Just write on a piece of paper "please cross process" and wherever your film is sent to they should understand.
It basically means to process the film in the chemicals used for a different type of film. See here [link] if you are more interested
Hope this helps and good luck!

Yes, 120 film is hard to find nowadays...
I think you're right, if I just write it on a little piece of paper, they should understand

And thanks a lot for the link

My holga already gives light leaks onto the film.
This time I asked my photo lab to cross process the film which gives the blue and red colours (:

Immortal-Mynx In reply to jazzylemonade [2009-04-30 11:44:52 +0000 UTC]

could be a few reasons, the film may have expired a while ago, (good in my opinion lol), the photo lab may have accidentally processed your film wrong... or something else?
and thank you keep holga-ing on!
