I think the same about the blue shades highlighted by red ^^ Blue and orange - which is kind of a shade of red xD- are complementary colours and therefore plaesing to the eye when combined. I always try to combine
complementary elements in a painting e.g red and green, yellow and purple and so on.
In this I was going for the 3D effect. reminds me of the old 3D glasses you got in cinema way back xD

Even reading about those colour combinations makes my heart skip. Those really do look pretty together! (Oh my, now I am thinking of soft sunshiny Hobi in yellow but with dark, edgy Hangsang/Baseline-like undertones of purple around him. Sigh.)
