Sailor Chaos Theory:
I’d like to state that this theory did not start out as mine. This is idea and for her birthday I ran with it. I’m not sure this is exactly what or how she meant it, but this is my version of the idea.
Hotaru’s: That when the girls left the cauldron Chaos was in fact reborn, but not just inside anyone’s sailor crystal, but Chibiusa’s Pink Crystal. This explains why she was a brat, caused Chaos to her future parents and was corrupted to become Black Lady.
The idea I ran with:
The Chaos inside of Chibiusa has been waiting around until Sailor Cosmos was born. Yes, it is the reason Chibiusa caused Chaos wherever she went.
Headcannon back story: (these are things I headcannoned)
The Amazon quartet are Sailor Chibi Moon’s team. They are also the daughters’ of the inner senshi. Sailor Ceres has pink hair because just like her mother, Venus, she is the doppelganger to Chibi Moon. (like Venus was for Moon) The generals/ 4 kings were reborn out of the cauldron and they are the fathers. After 900 years it only makes sense they’d be reborn again.
Sailor Chaos:
After Sailor Moon becomes Sailor Cosmos, Sailor Chibi Moon ascends to Sailor Moon, but there is something no quite right. Her transformation into Sailor Moon has dark elements as Choas begins to corrupt her.
Sailor Dark Moon: is the first incarnation as Chaos corrupts Sailor Moon. She then uses her new powers to corrupt her team, the Amazons (who are the inner’s daughters) plus Eternal Sailor Saturn. It didn’t take much as these 5 love their Princess and would do anything for her.
Sailor Cosmos and her team plus Pluto, Uranus and Neptune try to save her and their daughters. (remember Saturn was raised by Pluto, Uranus and Neptune) Not just Cosmos has her daughters’ lives in the balance, but all the senshi. This weighs on Sailor Cosmos which stops her from killing Dark Moon. This leads to the full corruption as she and ascends into Sailor Chaos.
This is where Sailor Cosmos leaves her team fighting to go back as Chibi Chibi and see Eternal Sailor Moon. When she goes back can she defeat her own daughter? Or has Chaos completely taken over Chibiusa’s heart and crystal?
I went with a non manga look for Sailor Chaos. This is because it looks too much like Galaxia and I wanted to have her be a dark version of Cosmos which in this theory is what Chaos is. I think she would start out with the hood as a way for Cosmos and her team to not she was chibi moon. When it’s revealed she is dark, but you can tell who she is. I left pink accents because I feel that Chibiusa would be in there a little. This would give Cosmos hope that she could save her daughter. It is very black so I tried to use sharpie to show off that it's a fuku, cape with hood and also a mask on her chest. Also I don't have a scanner so it's a picture which means the color didn't show up too well. It's darker then it was meant to be.

I am thinking sorta like the shadows in MH with the dark genie. Only with like infected looking black stuff on their skin too.

There was Dark Mercury. I kinda see Chaos sailors as having black-like tar infecting their fuku's and skin until they darkness takes over. Then I see it as being all black fukus with a little of their color coming through.

Yeah, I think like that. I think they would be swayed, but try to resist. However, Chaos is too powerful! I think it would do this to Chibiusa too. Infecting her pink crystal.

You know what would be even more messed up? What if there never was a "Pink Moon Crystal" and Chaos was the Pink Crystal all along...and Usagi was too much of a ditz to realize what her daughter was until it was too late?

True, I guess cause I am a sucker for happy endings I would probably save her. But I did see the point on the Chaos crystal. I mean, why would there be two Imperial crystals anyway? And we all know Sailor Moon was only that out of necessity as before she was only a princess. The others are born with their crystals but Moon's was inherited. So, Chibiusa having a fully chaos crystal works. But I do see how maybe the goodness and 'pinkness' might be swayed back to good in the end. many of Moon's baddies did that anyway.

Well, maybe when Cosmos goes back to the future to face her, she can save her.
Not to mention SailorMoon loses all of her senshi powers when she becomes Neo Queen Serenity.
It's kind of funny how some of the villains were redeemed in the anime (like the Weird Sister and the Amazon Quartet), but in the manga it's just "Boom! You're dead! in most cases.

Yeah, true. That's why I assumed that when she does become Cosmos it must be from Chaos. I think you are right. Cosmos needed to see Eternal Sailor Moon and how strong she was before she was the Queen to help her defeat and save Chibiusa.

It did even if I do prefer the manga... and now crystal. I am buying the 90s too because it has it's merits. Plus, I'm a Moonie I need them all. One day my daughter will be subjected to it. Lol and she'll learn Japanese.

I don't know the first two seasons of Crystal left much to be desired. Generals and Ami's mind control aside they made Usagi into a clingy bitch and the senshi got ignored for the MIRACUU ROMANSU!
At least Season III was good even though poor Pluto didn't get a transformation...and Haruka kissing Usagi somehow seemed even more messed up given how heavy Haruka and Michiru were going before that scene. ^.^;

I liked crystal more than the 90s... I feel it's closer to the manga and it's so much prettier. Yes, all of that are for sure reasons why I'm not always happy with 90s. I hate Supers because it became all about that pink spore. In the manga that is not how it was. I sure hope that crystal sticks to the manga for supers and stars. Ami mind control wasn't that the live action? I never watched it. Stuffed Luna and Artemis was too bizarre for me!

Well the classic anime was okay until SuperS. I mean most focus in ChibiMoon and no Outers (although technically Jupiter should be an Outer). and Stars eliminated half the characters and made Chibi Chibi Galaxia's Starseed. O_o;
Not to mention in the classic anime Mamoru was much older than Usagi and had a tendency to be an asshole even after he remembered that he was Endymion.
Oh I mean Ami's brainwashing in chapter 2 of Crystal when in the manga she say the program is giving her a headache and she decides to take notes instead.
As for PGSM, don't forget Sailor Luna who was only slightly less annoying than ChibiMoon.

Yes, those are more of the reasons why the 90s is not my fave. I mean, I love it for what it was and will always have it in my heart as it is what got me into Sailor Moon. However, the manga was always far superior anyway.
Oh yes, that wasn't great. Not sure why they did that. I did notice that R and S were close to manga than the first one. I'm hoping to buy or get the next season of crystel for me bday. It's only $48 on amazon. Then I can rewatch and see what was different as I don't remember as much.

Oh and I forgot Moon killed Beryl by hitting her necklace in Crystal. What I like about the 90s is the girls all had personality and all got the spotlight at least once per season, even in SuperS, plus the Outers had the best transformation music.
Crystal just has too many flaws in the first two arcs. Sure the animation is nice and the music is good, but the animation has A LOT of mistakes (the classic anime has it's fair share of animation mistakes too, like Ami's missing glove during her Shabon Spray attack) that were thankfully fixed for the most part for Blu-Ray/DVD. Considering animators had two weeks to finish episodes of Crystal I would have expected better given when the classic anime was made the animators had one week to finish an episode. O_o
I feel like Toei could have done so much more given SailorMoon is one of their biggest franchises. Hell, I read the only reason Toei made Crystal was because they wanted to re-release the classic anime but Naoko wouldn't budge until Toei made an anime more closely based on the manga.

Yeah, that wasn't my fave either. Venus killed Beryl in the manga. Sword right through the gut! I understand the personality thing, but Mars is awful in the 90s...what a bitch. She is not meant to be a bitch. However, that's why I loved SuperS manga each girl did get her own story and arc.
Yeah, how about 90s fat face? I have that so much. It makes Ami looks just stupid. I hope that once crystal does SuperS they stick to the manga.

Oh yes, classic anime Rei was awful, although I did like how she and Moon bonded over time. The dubs made her even worse. Rei should come off an aloof. Also, Rei's grandfather was a pervert in the classic anime.

Oh I know, but we can't blame the producers completely for SailorLuna. What makes it even weirder is Keiko Han still voices Luna in plushie form. I wish she had come back and voiced Luna in Crystal. ^.^;

Yes, that is true. In the manga we don't really see her grandpa much. Or really any parents other than Usagi's.

Well we know Makoto's parents died in almost all canon (save for the Cloverway dub where she said her mother was allergic to cats). Also, there's that one weird manga image where Ikuko has pink hair instead of her usual purple.
Oh yeah there's certain animators you can spot easily from one episode to the next, I think the "fat face" and "triangle eyes" are the easiest to pic.
Now that I'm not sure. It was weird since Makoto married Modoki...and Modoki was obsessed with his pet turtle. X_X

True that. Mina's are shown in Codename Sailor V, but not much after that. Ami we see in SuperS mainly, but everyone knows they are a divorced painter and doctor. Mamoru's are also dead. Nothing about the outers that I recall. I wonder how they felt about their endogenous daughter/son Uranus? I mean it looks like he lived life as a boy up until he became a sailor. Not that she had a sex change, more like gender fluid. Back then that was not as much a thing as it is now.

I think one or both of Ami's parents may have appeared in Sailor Moon: Another Story, but I haven't played that in years (my game data somehow got erased) so I could be wrong. ^.^;

Yeah the 90s romance was awful. I mean Mamoru dumped Usagi in R and would attack her anything he was even remotely brainwashed...not to mention Rei dated him at one time and you and I both know manga and Crystal Rei wouldn't do that crap.

Damn, SuperS is going to be a 2 part movie instead of series and we may not get it here in for a while or at all. This stinks. I wanted my fave arc to be better than crappy 90s... and now it won't be.
I know it was horrible. I will never forget the trears after the scene of Usagi in the telephone booth. Plus, it should have never been that way!
