Description Back when there were human knights and samurai, there was a company of dragons that spread themselves far and wide to protect kingdoms of all sorts. Most of the time, one dragon per kingdom was assigned to help other knights keep the peace.

Unlike human societies at the time, dragon society didn't actively discourage its female members from entering male-dominated jobs. Zirrok was one of the first female squires to graduate to knighthood in a long time, and so she takes her job very seriously. Instead of settling down like other young dragons, she excelled at combat training and got posted to watch over a small kingdom far away from her family's home where she upholds the law. So far, her time spent at this struggling kingdom has gone well.

Zirrok's detachment, the Company of Drakkon, has a strict code that all its members are expected to follow, much like a human knight would follow their Code of Chivalry:

NEVER let any being use you as they would a beast of burden
Protect the weak and defenseless
Give succour to widows and orphans
Refrain from the wanton giving of offence
Live by honour and for glory
Despise pecuniary reward
Fight for the welfare of all
Obey those placed in authority
Guard the honour of fellow knights
Eschew unfairness, meanness and deceit
Keep faith, whatever your faith may be
At all times to speak the truth
Persevere to the end in any enterprise begun
Respect the honour of all living things
Never to refuse a challenge from an equal
Never to turn the back upon a foe

The Company of Drakkon is adamant about the first rule of the code. They consider being ridden or doing dumb labour for any beings such as pulling a cart to be a serious affront to the dignity of dragonkind and will discharge any member of the detachment if they accept such tasks from anyone; although, if it is physically forced upon a knight and they cannot prevent it, the company will pardon the event.
