Well, this is my first post on Deviantart!
I introduce you to my gorgeous new character, the sometimes annoying, and often hyper Alaida Camera! *party poppers go off* Now don’t take her as a typical Rikku-esque (FFX/X-2) character, for as you can see, she becomes serious just as easily as any of us! If I truly had to describe her, it would have to be an optimist!
Well, she is my fan character for the anime/manga Naruto! A v. popular series, I do believe!

Well, for this design I used pencils to draw it out and then “inked” it with my gorgeous sepia pens ^^ which I seem to prefer to black, it’s a much softer tone, don’t you think? Well, I usually don’t draw anime style, but I thought that the eyes certainly suited that body position, and I think it went well! Oh, and I don’t plan to CG it ((eheheh… as I don’t know how ;; )), and that’s why there are pencil markings on the headscarf – which is meant to be tartan by the way lol!!

Family Business: Sealing Minor Demons
Family Business Notes: For generations, and as far back as the Camera family tree goes, there has always only been one child born to each generation, and each was a boy, all gifted with the ability of sealing. This sealing ability came from a time when minor demons wrecked havoc with the small islands that the Camera family inhabited, along with their fellow islanders. Instead of sealing within a human, the Camera family devised a way to seal these minor demons within inanimate objects without losing a life, remember these are not the Legendary Demons, as they are WAY too powerful for such a Seal. Well, the Camera family were always a bit eccentric, and were then supported by the other villagers for stopping demons in their tracks. Now their house is full of items, “possessed” by demons, making it a very interesting visit, I must say!

Element/Chakra: Wind
Zodiac: Monkey
Favourite Animal: Cat
Tattoos: A black curl beneath her left eye, a heart on the left side of her tummy and a “wing”/family symbol on her left shoulder.

Scarf-y: A Demon by the name of Rufus, a demon tiger, sealed within a scarf by Alaida’s father. A wicked sense of humour and an abyss of a stomach – yes he eats – he is an intelligent demon, although he is often lead by his stomach. His abilities as a scarf are to manipulate the fibres and change shape, and sometimes even colour! This is because he was, supposedly, a metamorphic demon before he was sealed. He is bound to protect Alaida, through some strange binding brought about when she was born. He serves as a storage place for kunai and shuriken which fly out from the fibres, surprising the enemy, but also he can stretch out and grab enemies.

Jutsu:
1~ Bloodline Limit: Rokuugan no Jutsu (All seeing eye Technique) ~ Tori (bird) seal ~ a technique where one can see anywhere in the world, and to see into people and know their Chakra potential and their usual method of fighting, however it uses a lot of Chakra and causes the user to be blind during and a little while after usage.
2~ “Finger Twitch” ~ no seals ~ a technique to overcome the blindness associated with the Rokuugan technique. Floods fingers with Chakra to amplify senses, to feel, using the wind, the movement of the enemy, amplifies pain.
3~ Ichijin no Jutsu ~ (Gust of Wind Technique) ~ Saru (Monkey), Tori (Bird) ~ A strong gust of wind used to blow away or delay enemies, used by manipulating the air around Alaida.

Weapons:
1~ Retractable Bokuto (wooden sword)
2~ Shuriken and Kunai
3~ The Blunt Cunai (used to hit people over the head when she’s annoyed!)

Quirks:
1~ Hates performing handseals, and gets jealous of those who do them fast! Therefore, she prefers tai-jutsu rather than gen/nin-jutsu.
2~ She is the “self-proclaimed” fastest-ninja-in-the-world
3~ Is unable to not buy heaps of useless junk.
4~ Can’t go a week without some kind of party!

Traits: Hyperactive, optimist, huge stamina, agile, flexible, stubborn yet easily persuaded, sensitive, easily aggravated, too hasty.
