Description Inspired by Faun's songs "Isis" and "Cernunnos" from their album "Licht".

This is part of an unoffical CD Cover reinterpretation for the CD Album “Licht” (meaning “Light”) by German Pagan-Folk Band “Faun”.  Instead of the usual small CD Cover, this Edition was made as a 24cm x 24cm circular book to represent a tree from above, the way in which all things are connected and the everlasting life forces of nature and all things in it.  As you travel from the top branches of the tree down to the very roots you will discover all sorts of mystical places and people connected to mythology and nature.  Trees were important to the ancient Celtic Druids as they held knowledge of many things.  This made the tree a perfect symbol to represent spiritual enlightenment.

Cernunnos is a Celtic Deity and is known as Lord of the Animals and is also sometimes seen as a fertility god.  Isis is an Egyprtian deity and is the goddess of motherhood, magic and fertility.

The illustrations were created using Dry-Needle Point Etches and were then coloured digitally.
