Sorry I've only used SpeedFan,Β  I wouldn't know how to code for CoreTemp.

That's a DeviantArt thing. I right click the button and it opens a blank web page and then downloads.

Unless I'm mistaken, SpeedFan cannot show GPU usage.Β  The program is mostly for temp and fan speed.Β  It uses the same sensor for CPU temp and usage.

You might need to go the their site for more information: www.almico.com/speedfan.php

Rainmeter cannot read sensors, it need programs, like SpeedFan, that can read sensors and create data.Β  Rainmeter gets that data and displays it on your screen.

There are many programs that are like SpeedFan.Β  This skin was coded to read SpeedFan data.Β  There might be a Rainmeter skin, here on DeviantArt, that that uses another program like SpeedFan but displays GPU.

A good place to start is here:Β  www.deviantart.com/rainmeter

This is a system skin, it wasn't build to capture weather.

Hello

Is it possible to make this work with CoreTemp instead of SpeedFan? If so could you make a version that works? I cant seem to get it working and I suck at coding/scripting.

Thanks

I do have another skin that has some of the items you are looking for:Β Simple Time 2

Love it! New to Rainmaker, and your Flair skin is pretty much what I was after, and so easy to slightly customise. Thank you for sharing it! Β
One question... how do I get it to read "Temp1" data for temperature readings from SpeedFan? I was looking at how SpeedFan uses the various sensors on my laptop, and I would like Flair to display the "Temp1" readings... can you help, please?Β
I see in the .ini file there's this entry:

[MeasureCore1Temp]
Measurelugin
Plugin=SpeedFanPlugin
SpeedFanType=Temperature
SpeedFanNumber=1
SpeedFanScale=C

Is this just a matter of choosing the appropriate "SpeedFanNumber" parameter?

nach-mcnach In reply to nach-mcnach [2018-09-09 13:50:41 +0000 UTC]

Doh...Β
I should have just tried, shouldn't I?
Changing the value from 1 to 2 did exactly what I wanted.

Is there somewhere I can find a list of all available outputs and parameters I can use?Β

Thank you

imonline In reply to nach-mcnach [2018-09-09 14:11:55 +0000 UTC]

Always happy when someone as use for my Rainmeter skins.

The only parameters/outputs that I know of with the SpeedFan plugin are the ones listed in the Rainmeter documents:Β Β docs.rainmeter.net/manual/plug…

nach-mcnach In reply to imonline [2018-09-11 07:03:51 +0000 UTC]

Oh, that's really useful! Β
I already found that setting the parameter to 2 gave me the sensor I wanted to report... but that doc you linked to is very useful. I only 'discovered' Rainmeter a few days ago, so I'm still finding my way around, and this helps a lot. Thank you!

Open to edit the "Flair Time W.ini" file.
Under [[MeterToday],Β [MeterTime] andΒ [MeterDay1] sections, change the X= from 275 to 285.Β  Save and refresh the skin

Hey, I love this, thank you very much, but is it possible to change the colour? I noticed a lot of options to change colour but unsure what system it uses, is it just RGB values?

Edit: Ignore the question, to anyone with the same question just open up the variables file, located "Rainmeter\Skins\Flair\resources ", under "font colour" just edit it based on RGB values, the final value, which is by default 200, is transparency I believe.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

imonline In reply to BigBengal [2018-08-29 09:22:24 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! Glad you understood the colour setting.Β  The final value is the alpha setting, which as you mentioned is transparency.Β  This can also be adjusted from 0-255, depending on the level of transparency you want.

It's possible make the skin read temperature from another program or without any software external?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

imonline In reply to FabioSan1 [2018-08-23 23:40:11 +0000 UTC]

Windows doesn't read temps or fan speeds.Β  So you need a software that get the information from the sensors on your computer's motherboard.Β  I like Speedfan because it easily reads from these sensors and I know that Rainmeter works well with Speedfan.Β  There are other software out there but don't know if they all have plugins so that they can work with Rainmeter.
