"what's up Kia?" Maw raised an eyebrow. It was a little unusual to see his sister in the bakery.
Kia barley acknowledged him, slumping over the counter. "I need something sugary." She muttered.
Maw tilted his head. "Who for?"
"Me."
"Really?" Maw blinked. "But you don't usually need a pick me up. Everything ok?" Her asked, getting closer and feeling slightly worried.
Kia took a while to answer. Maw was about to ask if she had fallen asleep before she just muttered. "I feel tired... I need some energy."
Maw hesitated. His sister never got tired...did she? And certainly not choosing sweets for energy, as she usually said they would go against her workout plans. He wanted to say something, but decided against it and went in back to get a treat.
"Here we are~" Maw smiled, bringing out a small pink cookie. "Don't worry kia~ My macaroon's are lighter than air, with the fluffiest cream ever known to wyngro!"
Kia eyed the cookie a moment, then looked up to her brother. "...Seriously, can you be more gay maw?"
"Yes he can!" Klay's voice came from the backroom cheekily.
Maw pouted as his cheeks went red. "Just take the stupid cookie!"
