Aaah okay, was just a suggestion... I run at 1280x1024, so 979 pixels is still pretty easy for me, though I know some people run at 1024x768... and I hope no one who's browsing dA is using 800x600 OTL
I also prefer large "full view"s and having to scroll (or use middle-mouse-button scroll) to downloads, but that's just a personal preference.

Ha ha, I feel for both ends. I'd get super paranoid too if I was all alone at night walking down some middle of nowhere place and there's a guy who seems to be following me. Ohhh.... even now the very thought gives me the willies.

Of course it just as likely they are some poor innocent man who's just trying to go home themselves. That would not deter me from being downright squirrely though. Especially if they are bigger than me, which most guys are. o___o

A little bit on both; the bg looks too distracting if you overshade it especially. Try learning from different webcomics and see how they colour theirs.
