Generally known by his given name of Hego Damask this Muun Sith Lord was notable for his work in undermining the Galactic Republic through means of finance and various subtle efforts, the training of Sheev Palpatine into the Sith Lord Dark Sidious and his work on the study into how to use the Force to restore and prolong life (efforts in which he was ultimately successful in). His efforts laid the foundation for the destruction of the Jedi Order and the ascendancy of the Sith to power, but in the end despite his powers and wits he was killed by his former apprentice.

This is before he sustained the injuries at the hands of assassins.
