I'm done now. I don't know how many hours I've put into this, but a lot more that I usually do, that's for sure. I wanted to push it a bit further and I'm very pleased with the result.So, I miss Rose.

YES, Rose is my favorite companion too! I'm so happy she'll be back for the Day of the Doctor.
I only use standard brushes, nothing fancy at all. When it comes to hair you need to start with big chunks of hair and slowly go into more and more detail. And also don't do details all over, focus on a couple of places where you want details down to the strand and then let it be kind of blurred elsewhere. Hope it's any help (:
