Very impressive work! I am sorry that I have failed in commenting as of late, please know that I have not lost interest. I have managed to get through chapter one of your book... in between fighting large wildland fires, and damn, your use of words to describe the setting and the manner, attributes, and behavior of your characters simply reels the reader in! This is coming from someone who rarely puts fourth any effort at all to read. You've got me hooked! I cannot wait for the next opportunity to sit down with a moment's peace and read much more. Already I feel the same way about my motorcycle as your wolves do over their monocycles. I had to laugh when one particular bike was eyed over in a fuss to scout out any possible new blemishes... That's totally me when someone gets too close to mine HAHAHA.Β
On to this image... Very good work on the perspective. It does an impressive job at showing off his incredible mass and power while relaxed and tolorating, albeit without choice, the treatment he is receiving. Great work... I need to study your style and apply it to my own learnings.Β

Another wonderful story spot! I'm so glad ended up going with something so close to your previous depiction of the interrogation. This scene takes everything about the first one, and dials it up a notch, but not always in the way you'd expect.
First of all there's Noss himself. Like before, he's clearly defeated. His pose is keen on displaying his massive muscles at ease. However, looking to his face you can almost see a slight smirk. I won't say anything more than this, but you can tell it's one of almost begrudging respect. You can tell that even though he's been rendered powerless (and not just physically), he has some solace, as now he knows what the score is.
The perspective then draws your attention to the two Howlers in the scene with him, fully impressing on the viewer just how intimidating the bloodfangs can be, arguably for the first time. Their helmets are absolutely menacing, and they are firmly in a position of power and control. This is where the bloodfang aesthetic shines!
Lastly is the overall tone. Like the previous interrogation scene, the sepia tones and rough texture add to the distressed nature of the scene. Accentuating this is the fact that the two bloodfangs are completely geared up and pristine, while Noss is bound, bloodied, and bare chested. The dichotomy here is masterful, and shows off the current dynamic wonderful!!

I was worried people would find such a scene awkward/uncomfortable viewing, seems not so much.
Vlad's hardly a spoiler.

Well there's nothing inherently awkward or uncomfortable with this scene, although the implications of it can certainly be darker. Still, tone matters, and you play it tastefully.
True. And this is his first scene, too. I guess I'm overly concerned as to what counts as a spoiler. The last thing I want to do is ruin the book for someone.

Well, a truly expert Howler interrogator, like the chap standing to the right, will find a way to trip you up. I can't say more without spoiling plot.

Brutal.
I can only imagine what the it looks like when the Bloodfangs REALLY want the information from you.
