An update on an older work of mine.
The title really speaks for the whole nature of the work.
It's practical. I'm thinking of making it a print and getting this for my own wall in a nice frame as a fine art hanging.
This is just in Photoshop Elements 9. Most people don't believe that since CS3 is free now. Yet, it's true. I am thinking of getting CS3 now that I want to do other stuff. I used to have CS5, then 6..so, I do remember certain functions I miss.
This is not a fractal program [like Apohysis]. It's something I taught myself with Elements. I do use a plug-in that does a minor fractalesque operation... I do love Apophysis and Mandelbulber etc.
While it might be viewed as a more 'psychedelic' or fractal manipulation work, being the artist, it is more of a haunting visionary dark.
I could have made more 'popular psy', the usual debatable term for 'visionary', but went with something more..well, primitive but at the same time..hm..timeless, as in you might feel it is almost cyber. Some alien tech.
Rather than a bright and busy canvas that is charged up to radiate forth, this is designed to pull in and is a receiving type event. So, it truly is dark art. Dark art has a luminous, deep spirituality in it, evoking all moods that can even make one satisfied completely in total isolation from the bright, busy world.
