Okay, I need criticism here. Please tell me what I'm missing. I'm wanting to make the colors really pop and I'm not yet satisfied with it. I'm making a poster for a contest to win some scholarship money. The theme is "The World is Better With Art In It."Related content

It's a Fantastic thought, the colours are wonderful. The shoulders seem a little out of place maybe the one on the left should be farther back. The hair seems a little flat, maybe try to add more volume and layers, especially in the bangs. I believe the hands should be a bit bigger. Our hands are about the size of our face. The values are very well done and the rainbow paint really draws your eye, maybe add some more to the right side of the page so everything isn't focused on the left side of the page. a black background would really make the colors stand out.
The black spiked wrist-band would probably wash out though. You would probably need to change its color.

Rainbows! Pretty! I like the idea behind this. I agree that a darker background will help make the colors stand out more. It'll especially make the glowsticks stand out more.

I think maybe to make the colours pop more make the background an even darker colour. Maybe Black but other than that I think it looks really cool.

mm. I like the fact that its very colorful : )
though.. that globe.. it kinda bothers me that some of the green spots are too dark and some too light. Maybe make the mountains orange, like on the maps? and same is with the water.. too much.. contrasts... O.o or is it just me? : D

The only thing that really bugs me in this picture is that the left hand just looks really awkward. I don't know if it's the position or the shading but it just don't look right. But that's just me.
Other than that, it's a beautiful and well-done piece of work. :]
