Description
Nicolei lunged at Dark Link who had his back to him.

Glancing over his shoulder, Dark Link scowled and forced you back, causing you to stumble back while he turned to face Nicolei.

Blood splattered along the ground as the blade cut the top of his arm, yet more blood splattered beneath the two males.

You and Link's eyes widened while Dark Link smirked.

Nicolei trembled and coughed, blood pouring from his own mouth as he slowly looked down.

His eyes were wide at the sight.

Dark Link's own arm was going straight through his chest.

The demon grinned, ripping his arm out and watching as Nicolei fell against the ground.

"I commend you for that little attack. It did hurt an you managed to draw my blood. However, that little trick wont be enough to kill me."

He held up his arm, staring as Nicolei's blood dripped down off his hands. He smirked and kicked the male beneath him to turn him over.

"Nicolei!!"You screamed.

Dark Link then turned his attention to you, stepping away as you ran to him, collapsing to your knees at his side.

Link stared with wide eyes before scowling at Dark Link.

"You bastard!!" He charged at him, swinging his sword once more.

Something was wrong, Dark Link had never been this brutal before.

It was as if he gained some sort of dark power.

He was a lot stronger now and he wouldn't hesitate to kill the three of you.

You looked back at the two males, unsure if even Link could beat him now.

"Link!!"you called to him.

The blond grunted and groaned as his sword clashed with his dark double.

He stabbed his sword at him, but Dark Link simply leaped into the air again and landed on the blade once more, smirking down at the blond.

"Damn you!" Link quickly spun around, sword extended.

Dark Link barely managed to miss the fierce spin attack before grinning and doing the same.

This time Link back flipped away, avoiding the hit.

"Damn bastard.. Don't copy me!!"he shouted.

He jumped, swinging his sword down at the Demon who jumped to the side before performing the same move.

Link winced as the blade grazed his side, causing him to bleed.

"Heh, you're slowing down Link."Dark Link snickered.

The blond hero, held his wound as well as his glare on the evil doppelganger.

"Shut up."He growled, wincing and blood spewed from his wound.

Dammit..Doesn't this guy have a weak spot? Link bit his lip.

He could continue to fight Dark Link with his sword but, since they both had the same moves, he wasn't getting anywhere and the only one getting injured was himself.

How could he defeat this guy?

He was Darkness itself.

Link suddenly gasped as a thought struck him.

That's it! Dark Link is like a dark spirit, so maybe..the only thing that could defeat him..is a light arrow.

He smirked and jumped back, reaching into his satchel where he pulled out his bow along with a few golden arrows.

Dark Link glared.

"Tough break Dark Link! Seems, I've figure out your weakness!"

"Is that right? Perhaps but..light arrows do nothing if they can't hit their target and from what I see, you've only got about four of them."

"Maybe but..All I need is one." Link loaded the bow, pointing the arrow at Dark Link.

"If you think, I'm just gonna stand here and let you hit me then you're dead wrong!"

Dark Link charged at Link, swinging his sword.

Link fired the arrow, barely missing him as Dark Link drew closer.

Three left

He loaded up the second one and looked over at you, watching as you stood and turned to Dark Link yourself.

Maybe you couldn't do much, but you could help Link by distracting Dark Link.

You had to do something!

"Hey!" You yelled to gain their attention. "Don't count me out just yet!"

You ran towards Dark Link, swinging your sword at him. He blocked it with his shield, growling in annoyance.

"You're really a nuisance girl." he hissed.

"Look who's talking."You snap back.

"I don't have time to deal with you.."he growled at you before looking over at Link.

He bit his lip and jumped away, barely dodging the second arrow.

Two left..

"I'm tired of messing around..." Dark Link grinned as he jumped back onto a rooftop, glaring down at the two of you. "You two little insects are becoming a pain..I suppose, I'll just have to destroy you guys and this place at the same time."

"What the hell does he mean by that?"Link groaned, looking over at you.

"No clue...You reply. "But I don't like the looks of this."

Dark Link raised his hands towards the two of you. He smirked as dark shards appeared in front of him, angled straight at the two of you.

"Oh crap, ________ move!!" Link turned, rushing to your side and throwing himself over you as the shards rained down upon the two of you.

You gasped, falling back against the ground as Link leaned over you, blood dripping from his mouth while the shards embedded themselves in his back.

"Link!!"you cried as he collapsed into your arms, wincing.

He held him tightly, tears rolling down your cheeks.

He looked up at you, groaning from pain.

"You..have to be the one ______..To take..him down.."he whispered, clutching the bow and holding it up.

"But I can't! No matter what I do! I'm not strong enough!"You cried, burying your face in his shoulder. "I was just a stupid bounty hunter..I'm not a hero like you..I can't do anything..He's too strong.."

"You can..you just..have to believe in your strengths...Hyrule..and this place..they depend on you now.."He coughed yet smiled weakly at you. "I know..you still..love him.."

You stare at him, (e/c) eyes wide with tears.

"N-no I.."

"I can tell...you're hesitant about fighting him..._______, you're so transparent.."he chuckled, wincing more. "And I know...he still cares about you too..."

"How do you even know that?!"you cry.

"Isn't it obvious..he's hardly attacked you..and..I can sense it because..him and I..we're one in the same...everything about us...even our...feelings...for you.."

Link's movements stilled as you held him.

"Link..? Link? Link!!"You cried loudly as you held onto his body.

Dark Link stared at you, watching as you cried over Link.

"You're pathetic.."he called down to you.

You glared up at him, taking the bow from Link and standing.

"What? You actually think you of all people can stop me? You're just a foolish little girl."

"I know...who you are.."you tell him.

"Huh?"he quirked a brow at you.

"I recognize those eyes...You're not the real Dark Link..you're just that evil shadow that possesses his body! You're nothing but a spirit!"You yell.

"Quiet! I am the real Dark Link! That soft guy you knew before was nothing but a fool! A weakling! I'm the true king of shadows!"he shouted back.

"You're nothing!! You're just a phantom!! I know..that the real Dark Link..is in there still!"

"Hah! Your little screams will do nothing! I've banished him to the deepest and darkest part of our mind! He's gone!! Now, observe the real power of the dark lord!!"

He raised his hands above him, grinning at you and laughing as a large amount of dark energy formed.

"You who dare to challenge me, bear witness to the beginning of the end!!"he laughed.

You loaded the bow, pointing it at him and clenching your teeth.

"No..come back..Come back to me Dark Link!!" You released it, sending it flying towards him.

He smirked, even when the light arrow found it's way through his body.

"You're too late.."

He extended his arms out, letting the dark energy spread out across the sky, covering it in a thick dark fog.

You coughed and looked up as Dark Link and the Dark Phantom split. His body hurdled towards the ground where you rushed to catch it.

He was unconscious and still while the Phantom hovered in the air.

"One light arrow may have separated us..but it was not enough to truly kill me!"he laughed.

You growled and looked down at Dark Link, trying to shake him away.

"Dark Link! Wake up! Link! Wake up! I...I need you! Please! Wake up!"

"Wake up!"
