"Yeah, I win!!" You smirk as you win yet another duel and obtain your fifth locater card.

Kaiba was right.

You were way better than you thought.

Sure, you couldn't beat him but taking down others wasn't a problem.

All you needed was one more card and you were guranteed a spot in the finals alongside Kaiba.

Even if you couldn't beat him, you were still happy about being able to at least call him a competitor.

You smiled as you kept going, unaware that you were being watched.

"How is she doing?"Kaiba asked Mokuba who was watching you through his binoculars.

"Not bad Seto! She's already got five cards! She's doing really well!"he gleamed.

"Hmph, just what I'd expect from a person I taught myself." Kaiba smirked. "Be sure to secure an extra spot in the finals for her.And be sure to keep an eye on her."

"Kay bro!"

You hummed softly as you walked down the street with you duel disk system on your arm.

You only had a few hours left to go before the finals and you needed one more card to secure your place.

"Now..just one more person to go..hmm.." You continued to wander around until you were close to the pier.

The glistening water couldn't help but catch your eye.

It was so peaceful, the way the wind blew so gently, it couldn't help but bring a smile to your face as you leaned against the railing.

"Hey! There she is!!"

"Huh?" You look over your shoulder as a group of guys approached you. There was three of them to be exact.

One of them you recognized as the last guy you beat in the game.

He must have been upset and decided that he would try to intimidate you with his friends instead.

You glared. "What do you want?"

"I want all your locater cards chick! You dont deserve them!"he shouted.

"No way! I won them fair and square now get lost!!"you hiss at them.

"Fine, if you're not gonna give them up. We'll take them by force!" he yelled.

You stepped back as the guys came at you but you could only go so far since the railing was the only thing behind you and all it did was separate you from the water.

"Stay back! I'll have you know that I work for Seto Kaiba and he could have you guys ruined!!"You shout, trying to hide the growing fear in your voice.

"Ha!"One man snickered as he grabbed you, pulling you against him so he could hold you from behind. "Go ahead and call for your boyfriend! We're not scared!"

"Let go of me!!"You squirmed and thrashed in his hold, but the grip was tight.

You winced as he tightened on his grip on you while the others approached.

Your heart was pounding.

"Let me go! Help me!!"you cried out, squirming as they pulled your duel disk off your arm.

"You know, she's actually pretty cute. Perhaps we should take everything we can from her!"One of them laughed.

You grimaced, tears pricking your eyes.

"Stop! Get away from me!! Don't touch me you morons!"You yelled, yet they continued to grab at you, pulling on your clothes.

"Now now baby. Hush all that yelling. You may enjoy what's about to go down."

"If I were you, I would suggest you take your hands off of her."

Kaiba's voice interrupted your attackers.

Looking over, you saw the tall brunette glaring at the gang of thugs.

Kaiba had a natural cold look about him but time..he seemed even colder, almost menacing.

Mokuba stood at his side, glaring as well.

"Get away from her now! You guys will never participate in any Kaiba tournaments again!"the young boy shouted.

One of the thugs smirked.

"Heh, who cares? We'll take you on and then we'll steal your little girlfriend too."he barked.

"Hmph, I don't think so."

Within seconds Kaiba was running at the first guy, slamming his knee into the guy's stomach.

He looked so..So cool, fighting just to save you.

You couldn't help but blush at the gesture.

The first one fell to his knees, wincing while the other two stepped away, which inluded the one who was holding you.

Kaiba glared at them, stepping closer.

"Now..hands off my girl."he hissed.

W-what? His girl? Is that what Kaiba thought about you.

"K-Kaiba."You whimpered softly.

"Heh, you want her. Go get her!!"

The man holding you smirked as he turned and shoved you over the edge of the pier.

Kaiba, as well as Mokuba gasped as they watched you plummet into the freezing water.

"Oh no! ______!" Mokuba rushed over to the edge, looking over in time just to see you disappear beneeath the surface.

The thugs smirked, throwing your duel disk over into the water as well.

"That's that! Let's get out of here!!"

"Yeah! Let's go!!"

"Hey! Stop!!" Mokuba looked back at the thugs, watching as they ran as fast as they could away.

However, something else got his attention.

His brother who had thrown himself over the ledge as well, diving into the water after you.

"Seto!!"

The young brunette gazed over the ledge at the water, waiting for his brother to resurface with hopefully you in tow.

What could he do??

Could he really just sit here and watch?

He trembled, fearing for the worst.
