Description
Ever looked at the artwork for the card game confrontation? I know absolutely nothing about the game itself, but the artwork in the newsletters and sketched concepts are amazing. At one time i could name the artist they employ to concept up the artwork for their miniature line, and their published material, but the name has faded from memory. Was cleaning out my art folders and found this one unfinished, and decided to carry him down the road to complete town. The original lineart and concept is own by Confrontation, a french company that apparently has created a synthesis of card game, and miniature tabletop strategy.Lines Confrontaion

I really like the texture and swirls of the smoke and aura, especially around his feet and whatnot. It reminds me of some style related to old school animation, where less colour was used to facilitate the process. If thats not what you were going for, maybe you can stress the high tones more often. Great overall, me likey.

Basically Confrontation is a miniature game, the cards are just a plus.
