I decided I needed to make a christmas present for Jo, my co-worker and generally grand guy that works with me on Owlboy and whatever else we feel like doing.It wasn't difficult to figure out what do make. The guy has a slight fascination with a certain game series you could say, and I thought it would be fun to emulate the artstyle. PERFECT!
Took about two days to complete. The picture was already clear in my head from the start. The real time consumer was drawing all those Prinnies in the background. Couldn't skip on detail since I was planning for it to be a poster.
Actually surprised how close I got it to the look of the actual games. (not bad for never having played any of the games .-. ). Hopefully, I won't get randomly sued here. I was planning on making the scarf a Slytherin pattern since it would make it more Jo-esque, but I decided to keep it as Prinny...y... as possible.
So Merry Christmas! Now to draw something that doesn't contain demon penguins!

Nice work. Lines and colours are just perfect and the Prinny look is very convincing.

I see Prinny Kurits amongst the horde, while his presence along with the Hero Prinny would help, I can't but think that someone, possibly Etna, would simply throw one Prinny into the army and watch the fireworks. This is simply wonderful, the art style. colors, arrangement and overall theme is the true Disgaea feel to it. Gorgeous work, well done Imson, very well done.

This is gorgeous I love your colouring style and how 'epic' the whole scene looks. Prinnies are adorably violent

There's a secret character you can unlock that's a green prinny. Only reason I know is because the recipient has a poster of said green prinny on his wall. Thought I'd throw the guy in there so he could go "Hey! It's that green prinny guy!"

You should totally go to Kotaku and be like "HEY I FOUND THIS PRINNY PICTURE WHILE DOING A GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH WHAT IS THIS COULD THIS BE A NEW GAME???"
They'd probably see right through that though.
Wow I didn't know that, I never played Disgaea either. But that's cool I like when games go that extra mile to please their fans. Very old school.
