Description I'm back! I had another computer crash and it took ages to get the new parts I needed, but I'm back. Finally!

Though I'm going to be spending most of my time with Project Owlboy, I had to do some painting to get back into gear. I decided I needed some anatomy and facial practice, so I did a little something. Still doesn't look anywhere near realistic, but I wasn't really pushing the envelope here. Just a little practice and some warm colours.

I wasn't really trying for any symbolism, but it does capture a certain point in a party I don't see a lot. Ah well, make what you want out of it. Good to be back in the game at least.

Good realistic piece. Other than the length of the gal's fingers, MAYBE the lips look a bit dead color-wise, but that could just be your choice of palette.

Completely forgot to fix the fingers.

I'm not sure about the lips though. Seem fine to me. I'd rather start over than sit and rework this in any case.

Oh one thing, little bit of C&C

it appears all four of her fingers on her rightmost hand are roughly the same size, I'd expect her pinky to be a lot shorter compared to the rest of her fingers, no?

Just noticed that. The placement of her knuckles together with the lower fingers being more streched out makes the pinky and ring-finger seem a little long, but I suppose the fingers are a bit too simmilar in lenght.

I'll do some edits and see what happens.

I suppose that was one of the few things I knew I wanted to do with this thing. Lots of red hues. Feel like my next one should be a colour explosion of some sort. Just need something to paint that isn't "random girl facetest in warm-ish room"
