You’re perfect, or so you’ve been told, but it feels like you are losing yourself.
I feel pretty guilty about posting this still the zine still isn’t done, but it has been 6 months since preorders ended and almost 3 months since the last progress update for it was made. I hope it is finished someday and maybe the prospect of having physical prints of so many wonderful pieces of artwork will appease most people who are getting antsy. I didn’t want to give up on waiting for it, but my parents have been rather relentlessly hounding me for their books as if I have anything to do with it…
Anyway, I was really proud of this when I first made it and I just hope the finished book comes out eventually.

ahhh yes TTG, the only show where the creators are crying out for help by making it as shitty as possible and referencing the good ol' days of Teen Titans in hopes to get TTG cancelled but CN is just rolling in their shitty merch $$$$$$$ pile.

Oh man, was this for the Tiger Bomb zine? I was a part of it too, and I'm super bummed out we haven't gotten any updates for it yet... Or any indication that it'll be finished... This looks rly amazing tho! I especially love the colouring, it rly makes things pop out with the coloured sections overlayed on top! I also LOVE the idea of having her corrupted fusion in the background, it rly give it so much more meaning.
Here's praying that the zine comes out soon, so we can both see our stuff in colour and see all the other amazing Jasper art in it too. She rly needs more love...

Thanks a bunch! This was the first zine I was ever accepted into and I told myself that I was going to push what I was comfortable doing and make rather unique pieces for any zine I got into. I had gotten into 4 of them all around the same time (this one included) and I had alot of fun making all those pieces.
That being sad, this one is taking the longest out of all of them and that really bums me out. I understand that they had accepted like 90 people or something into the project so it is going to be huge
but it has been 3 months since the last progress update and the organizer has stopped using the linked main blog all together? I recently saw they had posted on their side blog that they were still working on the zine but "life issues and computer troubles" were delaying things and honestly those excuses have been used since before preorders even closed. I know I sound a bit harsh but the organizer really needs to enlist some outside help on the project to move it along faster. I have already gotten copies of another zine I did and the artwork for that was due around mid march and I had the book by the end of April so...
I'm not giving up on the zine so I guess I will just be pleasantly surprised when it comes in the mail I guess.

Yeah, same here! I feel like my piece paled in comparison to everyone else's, but I was incredibly moved to have been picked! It's just such a shame that we have yet to receive any sort of updates since April about it. You are right tho, it would be so much better if the organizer got some help to move this along, because I'm pretty sure a lot of artists who participated in this zine are feeling disappointed at not getting their copies of it. (I know I am, I honestly super excited when I heard my favourite character was getting her own zine, and to not have it in hand and admire all the amazing artists who participated in it is such a disappointment).
And haha, same here, I'm still holding out hope to getting it randomly in the mail, but I definitely won't be looking out for it all the time, haha. Prayer hand we all get our copies at some point in the year.
