I used to tower over the mountains and this valley, THE MAN they called me, with an ego that touched the sky. Overtime my greatness met reality, and I burned all under the control of my gaze. Now I wonder alone like any body else, a small part of the scenery, minuscule in scale and stature, looking up for a pathway to climb, so I can rest in peace at my rightful place between ascent and fall. ——————-Interesting to have a photo of the man from 2014 that showed its massive scale in regards to the mountains and valley, and now a photo from 2018 that’s depicts a man swallowed by his surroundings. Quite literal when compared to how my burns go. I felt more isolation this year then maybe ever. My loves wanted to run away rather then experience this with me, and it leaves me to question everything even down to who I am, why I even take photos, and if you truly get what you deserve, why do I deserve this.
I don’t know, I think I take pictures to discover it all, but I’m never answered, and so I keep taking them. Thanks to those who show me love, it makes it all worth.
