Oh, they look knitted. Crocheting is using two little hook ended needles isn't it? Still awesome Minions.

no, you're misunderstanding

crocheting uses 1 needle but knitting uses 2.

Oh, I thought crocheting used two needles but I know that the crochet needle has a hook at the end.

I can imagine! And you didn't even have to break the constant rounds with the mouths. I've seen some patterns that change to back-and-forth-rows to create an opening which breaks the look of the rounds. Looks fantastic!
