Description The gate guard Hawker Hunter outside the RAF Cosford Museum.

Due to the D200 not really getting on with my Zennitar 16mm f2.8 fisheye, I had to turn in 2 full stops of exposure compensation to stop the camera from over exposing. Sad'y you couldn't make this a lens preset so you had to remember to do this every time then remember to remove it after. A pain but it did mean I got to use this great fun lens!

a good question with a very easy answer. I'm a taad that forgets to check his setting before shooting. well at least I was. I'm not so bad now as not long after taking this photograph I sold my D200 and bought a F90x 35mm film SLR. This very quickly taught me to triple check your settings or waste allot of money.
Since then I have bought a D2h as I need a more robust camera for dust and sand conditions. When I a little more flush and better behaved on the 'check before you shoot' thing I may pick up a D700 or D3.

hmm ..~~
i there have bit difference between D = 700 and 3
so all same , but D3 only in a sport photography side there 9 ~ 11 fps better ~~
but the colors and basic things is same ^^
but you have good photos ..
your country UK it's amazing place , this method is a great for documentary photography or press rapid - i mean High ISO -

thanks buddy ~~

cheers !

This picture is amazing! The angle shot, sky, and background are perfect! The random bird also adds something special.

Thank you
I like the angle on this to. It give the illusion of flight but that's all it is and almost makes you feel sad that this aircraft can't do what it was designed to do. The bird has all the freedom it wants and could be interpreted that the grounded aircraft, looking up at the birds, wishing it could be free to fly with them

It is such a tragedy to see planes scrapped, grounded or put in the bone yard. But technology is meant to progress after all. If they are put on display, at least they can still be loved and admired.

I had a short amount of time with some very nice light so I rushed over to the airfield and got some shots before the sun set with my fish eye. This angle gives the effect that the hunter is almost in the air.
