I think that's true of anyone in the creative arts. We grow and expand and mature. I shudder when I read some of the first things I've ever written.

lol. I look at most of what I wrote when I was younger with a kind of bitter-sweet nostalgia...wondering, "was I ever really THAT stupid?"

Sometimes, I surprise myself though with a line or a paragraph that was actually pretty good...

Looks like you have better confidence (and neatness) in your lines these days, and a bit more realisim. Of course, it's Raven, and you've gradually been moving further and further away from her canon look for quite some time XD

You are certainly right. And I don't know, I think the designs they keep giving her are unimaginative and ill-suited to her character, or at least her character how I perceive it. Ah well. Probably for the best I'm not in charge of her.

In internet terms? An idea that catches on like AIDs and can be adapted to suit a theme, setting, or other idea, all more or less playing to the original seed. All those "grab my" whatever deviations plastered across the front page of dA this summer? A meme. Other good examples would be troll face, Pedo Bear, and "so i herd u liek mudkips".
