Ch. 5: Thing's Aren't What They SeemUmi finally gets to change into her school uniform that Kaede cleaned out for her. As she began to braid her hair into a simple pig-tail, “Can’t believe you travel around with that pervert demon, Kagome.”

“Hahahaha he isn’t usually a pervert, Umi. Sorry what he did earlier.”

I raised an eyebrow, “Why are you apologizing for him in his behalf?”

“Ahh..Um…I just feel bad that he did something like that to you.” She laughs nervously which just makes Umi give her odd look.

“How is that you Inuyasha obeys you?” I said finishing up my braid.

“Hm? Oh the sitting thing? Hahahaha it’s a funny story. Kaede set the beads around his neck in order for him not to harm me when we first met. Now that I command ‘Sit’ he collapses onto the ground.”

Umi couldn’t help herself to laugh out loud, “HAHAHAHA You serious?! He’s like a dog.”

“HEY! That’s not funny!” Inuyasha storms into their conversation.

“Actually Umi, Inuyasha is a dog demon.” Kagome announces.

Umi laughs again, “Wow! Seriously!? That’s funny!”

“Hey quit it!” Inuyasha growls at Umi.

Umi glares at him, “Look here Pervy demon, I’ll stop making fun of you until I get something of apology for peeping in on me. I don’t to hear my cousin to apologize in your behalf.”

“W-What?!No way!” Inuyasha glares back at her.

Umi crossed her arms and turned away from him, “Fine! Suit yourself Pervy Demon.”

Inuyasha growls, “Stop calling me Pervy Demon! I ain’t a pervert!”

She completely ignored him by covering her ears as she chanted ‘Pervy Demon’ over and over again until he had an anger vein popping on his head, “STOP IT!”

“I won’t Stop until you give me something of apology!” Umi faced him with tight fists on both sides of her waist.

“FINE! I am sorry I peeped in on you, Happy NOW?!” He answers.

“Nope.”

“WHAT! Hey you said you wanted an apology then I just gave you one you crazy woman!” Inuyasha stomps his foot and yells at her face.

“You’re not listening Pervy Demon. I said SOMETHING of an apology. It’s easy for people to say their apology. But this type of crime you did, I don’t deserve to hear an apology, but something.”

“WHAT! What is there you want for me?!”

Umi giggls and smiled, “Let me touch your ears.”

“Eh?” Inuyasha was staggered at her request.

“Since I seen your dog ears. I have the itch to touch them.” Umi said with a happy smile.

“W-What? Is she being serious Kagome?” Inuyasha asked Kagome who simply nods.

“Trust me Inuyasha. Umi is serious. I know my cousin.” Kagome smiled knowing how Umi feels because she did the same when she first met Inuyasha.

“Ggggggrrrrrr, FINE!” He madly pouts with his arms crossed.

“Yay!” Umi jumps in happiness. She grabbed his left ear between her fingers.
