Location: Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

Walking past the water palace I spotted a small sign saying "Rice fields" .. I decided to follow it. It was a long and winding road, though touristic markets, and then local workshops and then local residences. I was just about to give it up as a hoax when i saw this.

And the winding road opened up to wide paddyfields, farmers, village people, green verdant refreshing calming and exhilarating all at once.
