Thank you, But I would also give credit to the fact that I find people in the third world (where I am) usually a lot more expressive and open in their expressions. So much more opportunity to capture them

Actually the sunday market is not full of haggling in the conventional sense. The market is run by the government and the prices are fixed, much lower than the market rates .. almost half price of the regular shops. They are held twice a week.
However where one does haggle especially with the fruit and vegetable produce is in the quality .. other shops have graded produce .. the best quality at a higher price. Here they have ungraded produce .. with best quality mixed with lower quality .. so the trick is to be selective about what is given to you ... mostly the shopkeepers give you a mix of good and bad .. the best hagglers come away with the larger quantity of best quality
