Description “This is it right here,” Idris said as she pointed at a small, white apartment at the corner of “Time Street” and “Lily Road”.
Fenris looked upon the large white building and examined all of its windows and each different feature. He smiled,
“I don’t live too far from here; I live right down the street.”
“Well, you should come and visit some time! We could go do something,” she exclaimed, shedding a small amount of blush as she said it.
Fenris’s lips curled into a smile. “I think that would be awesome. I had a wonderful time with you today Idris. I hope we get to see each other again sometime.”
Idris’s eyes widened and she reached into her big fur coat and pulled a black pen labeled “Acroball” out as well as a small sheet of paper. She proceeded to jot a few things down onto the tiny sheet and then handed it to Fenris.
Fenris gently grabbed the paper and looked down at the small digits on the paper.
“That’s my number. If you ever need anything, Fenris, call me. I’m always free if you want to hang out again.”
She smiled and kissed his cheek and began towards the small, white apartment on the corner of “Time Street” and “Lily Road”.
Fenris’s eyes widened and his hand rose to touch his cheek. His face was bright red, and the small smile on his lips curled even bigger. He turned away from the building and began walking back to his own small dwelling that was less than a mile away.
He couldn’t stop thinking about the beautiful girl he accidentally bumped into on the street. He had only met her today and her silky black hair and pale white skin had already stolen his heart. His small breaths that puffed into smoke in the cold became shorter every time he thought of her. His heart would skip a beat when her image came into his mind.
“Idris…” He whispered under his breath. “What a beautiful name…” He laughed as he said it, and then took the left onto “Incarine Drive”. His gait became light as if he were dancing across the sidewalk. He couldn’t stop thinking about Idris, no matter what he did.
He walked down his tiny driveway and unlocked the door to his small blue house and entered. He hung up his coat on the coat rack to the left of his door and went up his staircase and crossed to his kitchen.
“Hei, Solvag,” he greeted to the fluffy, Siberian cat that lay asleep on the small green couch, and scratched behind her ears.
Solvag grumpily opened her eyes, yawned, and mewed at Fenris. He smiled at the she-cat and opened his refrigerator.
“Do you want a wet food dinner tonight, Solvag?” He asked, looking around in the refrigerator. “You might be the only one having dinner…  I’ll have to order out or something,” he whined. Then he completely lost focus of the cat and turned around to the telephone that sat next to the sink. He stared at it for a second before taking the small sheet of paper out of his coat pocket and once again read Idris’s messy handwriting.
“If you ever need anything, just call me!”
“Should I..?” He looks at Solvag, who sat there just staring at him.
“What if she thinks I’m creepy? I mean… I just met her today… What if… What if she says no..? What if she has a boyfriend and is seeing him tonight..?”
Solvag mewed at him and brushed against his leg.
Fenris took a deep breath and started to the telephone and dialed the number written on the small sheet of paper. It took everything for Fenris to do this; his doubt was building up like a wildfire, but pursued it anyway.
The dial tone rang for a while, Fenris got nervous, and he bit his lip, wondering what to say when Idris picked up the phone. “I should have practiced…” he muttered while the dial tone still rung.
“Hello?” It was Idris; Fenris’s heart skipped a beat.
“H-Hello, Idris… This is Fenris…”
“Fenris! Hi! What’s up? Do you need something?”
Fenris hesitated.  “Y-yeah… I don’t have anything to do tonight and I was wondering… Would you like… to… maybe… go out to dinner with me tonight..?”
Idris was silent for a moment; Fenris felt a chill run down his spine.
“As a date..?” Idris asked.
Fenris’s heart was going to explode. He took a deep breath. “Y-yeah…”
A small chuckle was heard on the end of the line.
“Sure, I’d love to! Where do you want to go?”
She said yes. He felt as if he had begun floating, he was so head over heels for Idris at the moment.
“It’s completely up to you…” he said with a small chuckle. He just couldn’t believe she said yes to him.
“How about Uno’s? It’s right down the street from both of us. That’d be fun, no?”
“Sounds like a plan. When do you want to head out?”
“At 6:30? I need some time to get ready.”
Fenris looked at the small clock on his wall. It was currently 5:28. “That’s fine. I’ll come pick you up then. You can count on it.” He said with a smile on his lips.
“Alright! See you then, Fenris! Bye!” Idris exclaimed before she hung up.
Fenris placed the phone back on the charger and turned to Solvag, who was still patiently waiting for her dinner. “I… I have a date tonight.”
