Girl type Ranma and Akane share a little smooch
Well, almost. I like the almost-kiss better than the actual kiss Yes, this picture displays a perfect example of "Broken Back syndrome" - I drew Ranma's back with near impossible physiology T_T
Sketched in ball point pen on printer paper, scanned and coloured in PS10.

I've always liked Girl!Ranma/Akane moments in the series. Their moments come off more gentle and softer to me than his moments with her as a guy. Which is kind of weird.
And let's face it, Girl!Ranma/Akane is pretty hot.

I'm not sure if this was intentional, but I think out of all the girl Ranma and Akane sketches, this is the most well thought out.
Ranma and Akane do love each other, but have a hard time admitting it. This is especially taxing on them emotionally when Ranma and Akane considers Ranma's girl side as well. Not that Akane isn't attracted, she shows that later on, but its something their both uncertain about. This is the most apparent in season 5 ep 3, which I count as possibly the most romantic Akane/Ranma-chan scene in the series.
You can see the level of emotion on their faces in this picture, as they are trying be honest with each other and themselves, both body and soul. Hope I'm not overthinking this, its just this is just one of the best tribute to their romance out there.

You're not overthinking it at all! Heck, when I drew this, I didn't really think about that. Well, I did to some degree. I think it would be easier for Ranma to express his love for Akane if he's in girl form, ironic as that may be for him.
