Stephen King’s Carrie VS Stranger Things

*Both are psychics who are connected with blood with their powers during specific usages related to their trauma in some way (Eleven’s Nose bleeds when she uses her powers which was a result of her being experimented on as a child & Carrie was covered in Pig Blood due to the bullies to when which she unleashed her full power)

*Both have mentally damaged moms (Eleven’s Mom is in a coma & Carrie’s mom is super fucking religious) both didn’t have a father figure growing up, with Both fall in love with a guy (Mike & Tommy) and go to a dance with them (Mike and Eleven go to the snowball dance & Tommy and Carrie go to Prom)

*From the moment they were birthed they were in a living hell (Carrie being surrounded by her super religious Mom which traumatized her & Eleven grew up as a Lab Experiment)

*Both took role in a killing spree due to manipulation of antagonistic characters (Henry trying to convince Eleven to join him during the Hawkins Lab Massacre where Eleven sent Henry to the Upside Down & Carrie killed a bunch of high school kids during prom and burned the building in the process)

*Both lose their best friends due to the villains hatred for them (Max being killed by Vecna in front of Eleven & Tommy's Death was an accident in attempt to ruin Carrie's Prom) which then motivates the protagonists to defeat them (Carrie killing Tommy's Killer & Eleven temporarily defeating Vecna before it being revealed he's alive for Season 5)

*Both were abused and mentally scarred and damaged from a parental figure at a young age (Carrie’s mom would lock her in the closet for hours & Eleven would be put under experiments and experienced trauma by Dr Brenner)

*Both go out to kill characters who terrorized them and ruined their lives mentally & physically (Billy, The Flayed and The Upside Down Monsters for Eleven & Kris, and Billy for Carrie)

*Both had an adult who treated them very well and helped them during their trauma and acted as the parental figure they needed (Chief Hopper & Ms Collins)

*And Both were given their powers from birth due to a defect (Eleven while being birthed was exposed to hallucinogenic Drugs & Carrie having the TK Gene)
