RWBY VS Power Rangers

*Two androids built to act as surrogate children to lonely inventors (Pietro Polendina & Andrew Hartford respectively)

*Both almost perfectly appear human, and wer initially introduced as such until their robotic natures were later revealed. Their stories heavily revolve around ancient relics (....the Relics & Corona Aurora respectively), which wield immense power when gathered and are sought by the heroes and villains alike

*Together with their friends on color-coordinated teams, they hunt for these relics, and eventually inherit the powers of guardians for these artifacts (the previous Winter Maiden dies and passes her powers onto Penny & Mack gains his Battlizer form by merging with Sentinel Knight, the guardian of Corona Aurora, to become the Red Sentinel Ranger)

*The very relics they seek out eventually give them fully human forms (The Staff of Creation creates a new body for Penny & the Corona Aurora revives Mack as a full human at the end of Operation Overdrive), and ultimately they sacrifice their lives to protect their friends (Penny asks Jaune to kill her so Cinder cannot steal her Maiden powers & Mack fatally burns out his systems in the final battle with Flurious)
