thank you for uploaging this . i have been looking everywhere for a bakura plushie but apparently yugioh plushies are no longer commercially sold . so what better option is there then to make it myself. Btw i'm kinda new at this so what type of fabric would you use for the body/skin

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

indecisivepancake In reply to sleepypumkin [2011-07-10 14:06:02 +0000 UTC]

The fabric I used for the skin was just an old bed sheet! I'm such a cheap-skate!!
Pretty much all the material I use is from my old clothes and stuff.. I don't really think it matters as long as the fabric isn't too stretchy or flimsy!
Glad these will be helpful for you! Just ask if you need any help with anything!

Awesome! I recently got the urge to try plushie-ing again, but I hated the pattern I used when I made my first and was looking for new ones tonight. This looks to suit nicely in terms of size and such!

What do you use for and how do you do the face? I mean, how do you create the mouth/nose? And do you just use buttons for the eyes? (I'm new to this x] )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

indecisivepancake In reply to majesticllama [2010-08-31 10:08:15 +0000 UTC]

oh sorry, i forgot to write about that part XD i use fabric paints but you could also use buttons or stitch the mouth or whatever, i suppose it depends on the character, if you want, i could upload a tutorial for doing the face if that would help (:

majesticllama In reply to indecisivepancake [2010-08-31 17:53:46 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure if I can even do it, I don't have any fabric >.< The only thing I could think of is cutting up some old t-shirts, but
A. Idk if that's good fabric, and
B. My mom didn't seem to be totally for it xP

Akumadeshitsujidesu [2010-07-14 18:39:53 +0000 UTC]

this is epic i usually do the arms attatched so thisll be easier

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

indecisivepancake In reply to Akumadeshitsujidesu [2010-07-14 19:52:06 +0000 UTC]

XD i used to do the arms attactched but they always turned out too long or too short, also, they aren't facing the right way if they're already attatched

thank you

indecisivepancake In reply to GirlyJames [2010-07-09 09:05:18 +0000 UTC]

XD the foot is quite complicated, you just have to make sure you hold it in place as you sew it tightly

it's sad that you don't see many good ones in the shops :/ that's why i started making my own XD they're not that difficult to make especially if you have a sewing machine, and mine only cost £15 because it's really small XD
