Really nice capture! The Navy is transitioning all of its Prowlers to the E/A-18 Growler. The Marines are not though, they will keep flying their Prowlers (at least a bit longer).

Many thanks! I'm glad the USMC still plans on keeping them around for a while. They're my favorite carrier based aircraft after all. (alongside the Dassault Rafale M)

I'm with you there. A lot of people think they are ugly ducklings so to speak, but they do very well exactly what they were designed to do!

lol. he said his last official act aboard ship was to punch out the maintenance officer.
apparently, the guy was a huge horse's butt, and nobody liked him.
as a crew cheif on hercs, i didn't suffer idiots well either.
(mike lost his crow for poking a lieutenant, but he said it was worth it.)
keep grabbing pics of those planes. i don't get out to the flightline much anymore.
