that sounds like a title to a song by Panic!At the Disco or something...
I really wanted to draw a scene and write a little story involving Pollenheart [#Silence-of-the-Stars ] and I am really proud of the outcome. This is by far one of the most favorite pieces I've drawn so far.

I'm not sure who the green-eyed cat is, but I noticed a lot of RiverClan cats had green eyes so comment if you'd like your cat to be her savior. c:

"Come on, Pollenpaw! I bet I can catch a fish before you can!" a young golden tabby tom exclaimed, running a couple of paces ahead of his sisters. Pollenpaw looked forward at him, determination blazing in her eyes. "I bet you I can!" She yelled back at him, accepting his challenge. A ginger tabby she-cat simply watched in amusement as her siblings continued on with their silly little rivalry. She had decided it was best for her to steer clear of it, and somehow wound up being their score keeper. The ginger cat rolled her golden eyes as she watched her sister run ahead to catch up with their brother, Sunpaw. Realizing she was being left behind, the ginger cat quickly started to pick up the pace so that she wouldn't miss a thing.

Pollenpaw and Sunpaw skidded to a stop at the edge of the river, gazing down at the churning water. The two had seen RiverClan warriors catch fish in the same stream and figured if they could do it, so can WindClan. The siblings sat down on the bank, Sunpaw looking back to see Gingerpaw slowly padding to a halt a couple whisker-lengths away from them. "Alright, I'm watching." She spoke, nodding her head telling them they could start their petty competition. The ginger she-cat wanted them to get it over with as soon as possible. The sooner they started, the sooner they could go back to camp.

The golden tabbies tried and tried, but couldn't get a grip on the scaly creatures they laid beneath the blue tides. What felt like hours went by and soon the two fell tired, but refused to give up until one of them won. Suddenly, Pollenpaw could feel something swim between her paws. Not wanting to miss her chance; she dug her small, sharp claws into the creature. She tried to pull it in, but soon found herself being the one pulled in as she slipped off the bank and into the cold depths below.

The she-cat bobbed up and down in the current, trying to keep herself afloat, but it was no use. Soon the tides won her over and her golden pelt vanished from the sights of the two yelling cats back on the shore. Pollenpaw pawed at the water, trying her best to get her head back above the river but it was to no avail. The she-cat could hold her breath no longer and soon released the remaining air in her lungs in exchange for the cold river water. Her eyes looked forward, clutching onto the light she loved so much.
What's that? The she-cat thought as a dark figure plunged below the surface and towards the golden apprentice. She tried to hold onto consciousness but soon blacked out, the final thing she saw was a pair of green eyes.

"Thank StarClan you're alright!" a high-pitched toms voice exclaimed, breathing out a sigh. "Yeah, we were really worried." chimed in a young she-cats voice as Pollenpaw started to stir awake, coughing out the river water that made its way into her lungs. She coughed it all out of her system before turning her head to look at her siblings. They're both dry... She noticed, feeling the dampness still clinging onto her fur. "Y-you guys weren't the ones who saved me, were you..?" Pollenpaw asked, her voice hoarse from all the coughing. Her siblings shook their heads simultaneously. "But if you guys didn't.. who did?"
