How Teddy came into existence after millions of years is a mystery. He's not even a cloned specimen.
Besides that, his judgement of character is pretty simple.

He's not the kind of dino to hold grudges, but don't try to hurt Indy and he won't bite ;D
Besides his neutral personality, he's immortally loyal to Indy and he would take a cannonball for her. When he wants her attention, he snags her hat and tries ty to get her to chase him.

Fun fact: His coloration is based off of the Siamese Cat. Both the Yuty and cat breed are native to China.
