This was drawn in hype for the fan-sequel: Rayman M 2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1X6w-…
Rayman M 2 was shown in the Rayman Alive event - A video showcasing the community's projects, including RM2. Akin to a title's unveil at E3 or other conventions that showcase products and latest installments.

This drawing was a experiment with two different types of watercolor mediums. I used Derwent watercolor pencils, and Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolors for the skin and shading.
I normally mess things up whilst working with watercolors, but I must say that I'm proud of this.
