10 fascinating facts about Utie-Raptor:

#1 Utie's OG markings were ripped from a select-able animal in Zoo Tycoon 2 - Extinct Animals
You'd think I based Utie off of Yoshi from the Mario series because of his color scheme, but NOPE. :'D
The Utahraptor in the game did remind me of Yoshi, so I made him Indy's mount later on. I loved playing ZT2 in my freetime and I still play it today.

#2 Utie was originally intended to be a villain.
In 2009, I discovered someone had a raptor version of themself through another Deviant user who was popular and much nicer back then.
Evil Cynder from The Legend of Spyro - A New Beginning caught my attention and edgy AMV YT videos on her inspired me to drew Utie and made him a ravenous creature in beta!indy's life story.

#3 Akin to Fact #2, Utie was corrupted to his evil self in a RP.
Not saying where it took place, but it was on DeviantArt. Way before I knew DA chatrooms existed.
In said RP, Indy was expectant with Henchman 1000's children. And out of freaking nowhere, Utie revealed himself to be under a corruption spell by a certain Faux Clauda.
Soon, the father to-be punched him and the raptor reverted back to his normal self.

Prior to the scenario, I once drew a old picture with a snarly, grinning Utie with a squarish crocodile snout. This idea was dropped soon after. I might revisit this on Halloween to honor my younger self's insane imagination now that Toxica is still around. Kinda...

#4 Utie didn't exactly like Megaraptors for no real reason.
I don't remember why I made him that way at the time, even if the silly arguing between two differentiating characters can be funny, but this is kind of prejudice.
So I made him more tolerant. But, he still wouldn't trust males outside his family.

#5 Utie had 2 brothers and three sisters.
In the same year when I discovered Evil Cynder, I designed two brothers for him named Axel, Bruno, and three sisters, which only one out of the three received their name. And her name was Denise. She had green scales and long pink hair.

#6 Utie was Indy's adoptive brother.
Around the same year as the RP, I drew a page of when alpha!indy finds Utie's egg dropped on the doorstep. Darundy, a dragon, was his father and the one who dropped him off at Indy's house. And his mother a ordinary albino raptor named Sawalefi. Both of them were scrapped when I began reworking on IIV and made Utie Indy's older blood brother.

#7 Utie breathed fire
Whilst I was also into Dinosaur King back in 2009, Utie had a DK version of himself. And unlike like his cousins, he wasn't a attack move, a special obtainable dinosaur, nor a Wind element.
This was also a phase that I didn't know what to name him. His placeholder name was "Scar" because of that one picture I made of him in which he had no black markings.
In a old unfinished 2010 drawing, which was intended to be a "what if" scenario in Wario-Girl 's scrapped Rayman fanfic where Utie saves the day by breathing fire at a foe. And he was ENORMOUS in size. 0_0

#8 Utie was a flirty ladies man.
Yep. He likes blond-haired girls, he likes brunettes, he likes all the girls.
I also jokingly shipped him with Razorwife. Luckily, I never revealed this until now. Goodie. XD

#9 Utie's headcanon voice is Elijah Wood.
As a Spyro fan since 2009, I liked how Elijah's voice sounds.
Despite the controversies surrounding Wood.

#10 Utie makes JP Velociraptor sounds.
He snarls, screeches and growls the exact vocal tones. Enough said.
