Lyra is the voice of reason, the practical one, and the one with the plan. She's quick witted, she's clever, and she accepts no less than the best from herself and those around her. To give less than 100% is to be a failure, and to fail makes you worthless. This applies to her most of all. She desperately needs to be the best in everything she strives for, and can often times push herself too hard, or be too tough on herself, which can cause her to spiral out of control. At least, within her own mind. Unless you are close to her, she will appear to be as calm as ever, maintaining herself with grace and dignity.

And it is indeed difficult to get close to her. She's a true mountain lion, preferring solitude most of the time as it's surely pointless to rely on others. However, if she does grow to love someone (like her family, for example) she can be incredibly affectionate and loving. Those who reach this inner circle of hers get to witness a side that she otherwise pretends doesn't exist. After all, she cannot expose weaknesses! But those who do get to see her soften up she supports with all her heart, even if she still struggles with needing to be perfect for them too.

For those outside of her circle, she can appear cold and at times even heartless. She's not prone to feeling sentimental, and thinks wolf morals are silly and ridiculous. She doesn't understand the undying loyalty some creatures have for one another, especially those that are unrelated! She can be rather sassy and even rude at times, judging others from afar or even up close. She doesn't seem too interested in making friends, and likes to be alone. At least, that's what she believes will make her happy.
