Wearin' shadows in between
I close my eyes until once again the moon and I can dream
Of little birds catchin' fireflies until the darkness pulls 'em down
And little worlds hung on fire lit eyes
Cryin', "Come a little closer, now"

Just the world I never knew
And the only one I see...

I've always really liked blurry backgrounds and bokeh effect in photography, so this is an experiment with it in Prismacolor and Faber-Castelle colored pencils on bristol board. I was going to use mineral spirits for blending, but decided to save it for another picture. This was also my first time using my new Epson Perfection V37 scanner, which is just fantastic!
