In the 1950's, Broadway theater and animation feature films were booming. Katerine was a woman of big ideas and wanted to contribute to the arts. She was a writer, with millions of small stories she wanted to publish. However, to do that, you need money to get these books published. She works at the local theater as a stage hand, being a part of the arts in that respect. Worked hard to get what she can to save up to publish her book stories.

When she was a little girl, Walt Disney Animation Studios released Snow White and Cinderella, eager to see Sleeping Beauty and any other animated features. These stories are different than what she usually sees. These stories tell of far away lands and magic. She wanted to tell those same stories. Take fairy tales and fantasy to a different level where adults can enjoy.

It was a traditional she started that she leaves on a lamp light in the middle of the stage, allowing those from beyond to enjoy the spotlight. Every night before she goes home and work what she can on her drafts. It wasn't until her 27th birthday that her grandmother gave her a set of shimmering earrings and necklace. They shimmer a light green and teals and silvers. Kat's grandmother told her that they hold a special magic that would allow the ladies of the family to go after their ambitions if they believed in that magic. Of course, her mother would say otherwise, the magic isn't real. Its just Jewelery that was kept well.

Katerine believed differently. It's a nice thought, though.

One night after closing out another show, she felt more of a chill than usual as she turned on her light, and a green light burst forth from the lamp light. The Ghost light spewed figures from beyond, a dragon, knights, princesses, elven archers, mermaids... everything she has writen for her book! Butterflies glimmer in a swarm around the theater and swirl around her.

_"Let us help you bring the stories you hold dear to life! You have always let a light on for us to dance in the night. Take this light and we shall not fail."_

Months have passed, a poster of the biggest hit stage performer hangs along many theater buildings, full houses every time. The one gal show "Katerine and her Ghost Lit Tales" - a storyteller with the ability to bring them to life with the spirits who travel with her within her ghost lit staff. Butterflies adourn her dress - as they adourn her posters. Even the glass of the lantern have what look like green butterfly wings - crafted like the famous Tiffany lamps with an ordinate shaft. Every show they burst from the light before the specters take the stage as her words craft the story of the night.

The spicy story teller comes on stage wearing her mint green jacket, embroidered "Kat" along the back of her shoulders. As the hot stagelight shine down on her, she takes off her jacket and tying it around her waist.

Getting to see her stories come to life is more than she has ever expected. Her grandmother was right!! Since she was given these heirlooms, everything started to change!! All for the better! her passion for her writing is the heart of the shorts. She doesn't just tell the stories, she lives them. The Audience gets the be a part of the stories as the ghosts come from teh audience, interacting with them, making them all a part of the show, unlike the shows on Broadway where the actors are restrained to the stage. The Dragon flies over them, the mermaids swim down the aisles... better than they have ever expected.

Kat was once a small writer struggling to publish - now she is the famous Storyteller.
