Description Coloured version! Happy with some of it... At least it's one step closer to learning to use markers. He kinda looks like he has jaundice, though, doesn't he? haha!

Better luck on my next piece, I still love the lineart!

Marker, coloured paper and some white and brown coloured pencil work.

Very cute piece, very emotive.
I recently drew up a Dryad, but this has kinda inspired me for my next piece. I was planning on doing another, and this has given me the edge to do so!

Do it, I would love to see. Inpiration from other art is the best kind, along with music. I think it motivates people the most

I really like this one, reminds me of adriana from the former third years. Very pretty.

Hmmm...I see what you're saying about the jaundice. He doesn't look sick. It's just that he and the tree are blending in to the paper a bit too much. I would say that a bit of reds and oranges in a few key areas (shadow areas mostly) might help to separate it more.

I think you were most successful with the hind quarters and tail. I really get a sense of the light, shadow and reflected light there ^_^.

Hmmm...is there any way to lay down an opaque white with marker?

Paint works well I find as a marker substitute for white, but I definitly see your advice on the shadows I'll work on that and see that I can't come up with more contrast.
