this one is named sagriel.
is that a strange name? every time i play an rpg with a char creation system i use the same set of names...
i still can't do the hair very well, its a kinda twisting thing but i drew too many spikes the other way, and now it looks like a ginji-style or something...
anyway, he's an aggressive, angry (note the eyebrows, theyre always like that) kinda person. also, he happens to be just about the best at swordfighting and uses a traditional kendo style to fight...
this pic is in b/w bcause im not sure what color i want his hair to end up...
there's some more info about him not readily apparent in this picture...
does he have a cyborg body? just his right arm is cyborg? maybe he's actually a girl in disguise? here's the secret, his eyes aren't always closed. haha, some secret, huh?
actually theres something else but maybe its just stupid...

i've been using nikko g-pens a lot but now i'm switching back to tachikawa school. i like the firmness of those nibs better, along with the less of a tendency to skip on the paper.

when looking at this pic, notice the little details like the lighter areas on kite's short pants that kinda defines the edge between the two legs, the dark spots on sagriel's cloak where the ropes connect and the shading on sagriel's hair...because i put a lot of effort into that of course.
the lines i used to shade on the cloak look like something from bleach to me, the way kubo tends to bunch together thin lines to create shading or thick lines, rather than use a thicker pen or whatever he uses (probly copics and g-pens i think).
