One day at the age of 4 when Hibiki Anzai was sick with a cold, her quirk manifested itself for the first time.
Her mom had recently come home from her shift as a Pro Hero and was busy talking with Yuuma, Hibiki and Hayate’s father while Hibiki was watching tv. Hayate soon began to join his sister on the couch when Hibiki let out a sneeze, unleashing her quirk for the first time - a single low frequency sound wave that startled the household.
Hibiki’s quirk, while sound based, was unlike Aria’s quirk or Yuuma’s quirk they eventually figured out. Forming a merge of the two quirks called Sonokinesis. Hibiki’s parents were always hopeful about what this meant for Hibiki’s future, and later Hayate too as he developed the same quirk, but over time, Hibiki’s relationship with her own quirk changed and became filled with conflict…
But what caused it?
